Appointed Superintendent in 2011, leading a period of transformational growth in Bloom Township District 206.
Improved graduation rates and restored the district’s financial stability, achieving a $70 million fund balance and top ratings from the Illinois State Board of Education.
Advanced the district’s academic standing from ISBE watch list to “commendable” designation.
Expanded college and career readiness through AP/Pre-AP courses and specialized programs, including Barber College, Business Academy, CNA, and HVAC training.
Launched the Early College Initiative with Prairie State College, enabling seniors to earn dual credit and associate degrees prior to graduation.
Oversaw major infrastructure improvements, including athletic field upgrades and enhanced student wellness facilities.
