Community Expo celebrates 20 years as a Back-to-School Signature Event

Warm weather, a cool breeze, and festive energy provided an ideal setting during 20th Community Expo featuring the 36th Annual Music and Arts Explosion held on Saturday, August 22, 2026.  At 11:30 a.m., 500+ guests checked to participate in our block party held at The Montessori School of Englewood.

Twenty years ago, visionary leaders expanded the Annual Music and Arts Explosion to include the Community Expo which incorporated resource partners as a way to provide additional support for community members–from daily necessities to Back to School resources.
