Monarch Awards Foundation’s “A Sweet Taste of Summer” - White Party Fundraiser returned with incredible energy on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at The Park Tavern in Chicago, IL. With 473 guests in attendance, the evening was a true celebration of style, sisterhood, and support for our scholarships and community programs.
We were honored to welcome four distinguished very special guests, who spoke highly of the event and shared in the celebration:
Pamela Bates-Porch – 27th Regional Director, former Chairman of the International Spiritual Committee, and 6th President of the Monarch Awards Foundation
Carrie J. Clark – Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® International Regional Director and 29th Great Lakes Regional Director
Dr. Teresa Dundar-Garrett – Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® International Sisterly Relations Chairman

Thanks to the hard work of the committee, strong ticket sales, raffle participation, and generous contributions, the proceeds will support scholarships and community programs.

Guests enjoyed an unforgettable night of music from DJ Nick Non-Stop, who kept the dance floor alive with hit after hit, while the elegant décor set the perfect summer mood.
