In the true spirit of service exemplified by Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., the Monarch Awards Foundation, Inc., in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Xi Nu Omega and Pi Nu Chapters and The DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center, invites you to join us for “We Are One: Celebrating Beloved Community” - Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, where all guests are welcome to enjoy all museum exhibits FREE of charge during the highly interactive event.
Inspired by Dr. King’s vision of unity and compassion, this day of service is dedicated to uplifting our community through meaningful action. We are collecting warm wraps and winter essentials including hats, gloves, scarves, hoodies, coats, socks, and blankets to support youth and families in need.
