Pink Goes Red

February is American Heart Month, a national observance to raise awareness about cardiovascular health. Cardiovascular disease is he leading cause of death in the U.S. and during February Americans are encouraged to focus on heart-healthy lifestyles, manage risk factors like high blood pressure, and participate in events like National Wear Red Day to support women's heart health.  During February, the American Heart Association (AHA) and partners promote education on preventing heart disease through diet, exercise, and CPR awareness.

Monarch Awards Foundation, Inc., in partnership with Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Xi Nu Omega Chapter, are excited to announce our upcoming community health event, "Pink Goes Red."

There will be free garage parking. Bring a water bottle and a towel. Fresh fruit and vegetables are provided at no cost while supplies last.
