The Teen Esteem Program, the signature mentoring program of the Monarch Awards Foundation, is designed to enrich the lives of young ladies in high school. Established in 2001 to address the personal and social enhancement needs of young ladies that are not always met through their academic institutions, the Teen Esteem Program helps prepare high school girls for challenges within and beyond high school.

The Teen Esteem Program focuses on areas such as:

College readiness
Financial literacy
Health education
Social etiquette

The inaugural class of the Teen Esteem Program was composed of fifteen freshmen, sophomores and juniors, all attending Chicago metropolitan public and private high schools. Developing leadership skills, cultivating self-awareness and self-esteem, and promoting civic and community service are the hallmarks of this teen girls mentoring program.
