Our 2025 Pink Goes RED program held at Malcolm X College on February 15 offered something for everyone–the 165 participants enjoyed a variety of classes for many fitness levels, an opportunity to interact with MAF members and guests and activities dedicated to raising awareness about women's health during American Heart Month.
Step Aerobics and Cardio Drumming was taught by instructors from Armored Fitness and Nutrition; Chair and Mat yoga was taught by Jareen Marie; Guided Meditation by Lil John and a “Heart Health” conversation with Jameese Sykes, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC.
Special thanks to the nursing students from Malcolm X College who provided blood pressure and oxygen screenings to participants throughout the day.
