2021 Monarch Awards Foundation Scholarships

Q. How much are the scholarships?

A:   In 2021, Monarch Awards Foundation will be offering scholarships of up to $5,000.



Q: What is the application deadline?

A:  The application deadline for all Monarch Awards Foundation scholarships is March 31, 2021 at 11:59 pm.


All documents submitted electronically, including applications, transcripts, and letters of recommendation, must be date stamped no later than 11:59 pm on March 31, 2021.  All documents sent by U.S. Postal Service must be postmarked no later than March 31, 2021.


Q:  Can I start a scholarship application, save it, and finish it later?

A:   Yes. If you need to save your application and complete it later, click the “Save” button at the bottom of the application.  The Save button will provide you with a link that will take you back to your unfinished application. You can copy that link or you can email it to yourself for future reference.



Q:  There are several different scholarship categories.  May I submit an application in more than one category?


A:  Yes, you may apply for a scholarship in more than one category if you are eligible in more than one category.  Please note, however, that the essay questions are different in each category; if you submit an application in more than one category, you must write a separate essay for each application.



Q:  Where should transcripts and letters of recommendation be sent?

A:  Transcripts, letters of recommendation, and other documents should be emailed to:



Q:  May I submit a paper application?

A:  Yes, Monarch Awards Foundation will accept paper applications sent via U.S. Postal Service or other carriers.  Please note that sending an application by mail may delay its processing. For this reason, electronic applications are preferred.


Q:  My school only sends official transcripts by mail.  Will Monarch Awards Foundation accept transcripts sent by mail?

A:  Yes. Monarch Awards Foundation will accept applications, letters of recommendation, and transcripts sent via U.S. Postal Service or other carriers.  Please allow plenty of time as sending documents by mail may delay their processing.

A:  No.  All scholarships are for one year only.
